Ouiji boards experience?
The exorcism thread got me thinking about the Ouiji Board we had when we were kids. How does this thing work? We use to play outside in the mid summer nights at the park near our dead end street. Of course we play tricks on each other, but there were times the trick was on me and I was holding the damn thing by myself. it was moving by itself with my finger just holding it. How the heck does this happen? Just to clarify, I do not believe in any of that crap and not religious at all.
There was a kid from school that show us a new trick. He had a small bowl or cup with a little water on a large cookie sheet on some smooth surface of some sort and a quarter sitting on top of the bowl. The damn thing would move by itself very similar to the Ouiji board. It only works after mid night under the full moon. he learned this crap from his old country where they did not have the Ouiji. I'm a believer **** happens when ouijas are in use.
As a kid- seen an ex girlfriend of mine totally blow her top while we were fooling with one once. She starting screaming and became freakishly hard to hold down, even for two teenage kids. Made me a believer. rjp

My last Ouija experience was not my first, but definitely my last... This was about 1990ish... Lets just say what happened was not possible if there were not such a thing as spirits(good & evil) or multi dimensional beings that can control thought...

This question should probably have been posted in PARF. I have no doubt that there is something that moves the Ouiji board. The problem is that it is a vehicle to opening up communication with demonic spirits. The fact that is was claimed to be a parlour game doesn't change what is happening when you use it. The Bible is rather clear that God's enemy Satan does have some abilities. That is why some fortune tellers can tell you more about your past than they should know. Their power ends there since the familiar spirits can only tell you what has happened but not what will happen. Demons will also appear to be ghosts, departed love ones, etc.
Unfortunately, when you mess with fire, you will eventually get burned.

This isn't about a Oujai Board but about an experience I had Friday night. As I have said I have a Lady Friend that is terminally ill with Cancer, she is fading fast and her mental state is confused and disorientated, so that you can not have a real conversation with her anymore. She has kept on saying she is afraid and at times that she sees a "skinny woman with short hair" and "dogs" Anyway I was talking to her about that and asking for forgivness and that I had a beleif in God even though I don't say much about it.
Almost immediately after lewaving her presence and going down the stairs for some reason I SLIPPED AND FELL. It felt like I had stepped on a Banana Peel when ny foot went out from under me. I have gone up and down those stairs quite a bit and never had anything like that happen before. I could upon further testing could see how the carpet and my bare feet could create a slickness, I am very carefull about going up and down stairs slowlyholding the rail because of my weight and knees. I didn't feel any presence or pushing but the red flag went up? Her Mother was very Jewish and never tolerated any talk of Christianity in the house when my friend was growing up, so I felt that if anything it was her Mother letting me know she was displeased? Her Mother was also known to be what I would call being a bit petty. SO?????? What is the opinion of the Board????

It's all fake. I saw one quite a few years ago and it said all sorts of crap. Another guy there was a skeptic and blindfolded both the people and it quit being so talkative. I don't believe the people doing it were faking it but this seems to prove they were unconsciously moving the pointer.
