Thanks to your family Uno. I can't stand suishi, well not the bits with the uncooked salmon in it anyways. Thanks to the US service men that came here during the war as they saved our skinny arses. And sadly most of them got killed in New guinea. My grandparents had a gentleman from South Carolina billeted at their house and became good friends. They were going to keep in contact and catch up some time after the war but they never heard from him again which sadly sugggests he didn't survive New guinea.

And just a little background for you. At 19 years old started a security and personal protection course. 6 months. Learnt the ins and outs of the security game, close quarter unarmed training. Forced relinquish of a weapon etc. Then went on to my firearms course. Done the usual shooting etc, night training, impaired vision etc. Passed with a distinction. Then went further to armed personal protection with tactical training. This course was extremely gruelling and was comssioned by an ex FBI trainer, not sure if that means much but nontheless it was still hard and really opened my eyes to discharging a weapon in a public place. I had two guns. A S&W 669 and an S&W 38 Snub. Then ran my own security business. Still do. The guns are long gone and we no longer do guard or personal protection work. To hard and to much paperwork.

Dewolf, Arizona's high murder and violent crime rates are a bit deceiving. The overwhelming majority of that sort of crime is attributable to the crush of illegal aliens constantly swarming over their border with Mexico. With them come a general lawlessness at best, and trafficking in drugs, guns, and humans at worst. Lawfully armed Arizona citizens are not even a blip on the gun crime radar. Statistically insignificant.

And, again, you refuse to take up the right to self defense debate. I see porwolf has abandoned the debate at that point as well (wolves must cower in packs...). I guess there really is no arguing one's right to defend one's self and family from violent attack. I guess there is no arguing that there is a very real possibility of suffering a violent attack in either of our countries. And, finally, the statistics illuminate very clearly that one is far more likely to suffer such an attack in your country than mine. Oh well, I guess if someone wants to rape your wife or daughter, you will just "give them what they want and let them be on their way"...

no actually i wasnt playing navy seal, because i was never a navy seal. but i have been diving now since 17(thats 38 years now) and shooting since i was around 6 years old.(thats 49 years).


what i am doing in the pic is actually a staged picture. we had just returned from the dive shop after getting my regulators(poseidons) serviced as i was leaving for kona hawaii, and i always test my gear in a pool before leaving as i never USE RENTAL GEAR! heres a pic of one of those trips and some other boofoonary. the spoons are polish belt fed/drum fed FULL AUTOS with my legal class III dealer. we had to test them... snicker snicker. the other 2 are manta rays at about 80-90 feet at midnight(called a night dive) off old kona airport rd.

p.s. i had never heard we had the highest murrdurr rate of any state ..............ever. and i'm a daily news freek and read crime stats.

I have no problem with self defence. What I have a problem with is people like grandad in that video that take it upon themselves to start shooting. If that kid had started shooting back there may very well have been innocent people lost who would have rather handed over their wallets and valuables than be killed. They get to see thier families again, albeit a bit shaken up. If I value my life over my wallet and watch that's my choice.

Defend yourself, fine. Just don't defend me when there is'nt a fight. It was a robbery, not a gunfight.
