Hey Tom, you have become a welding fool haven't you, Nice project with the camero. What do you have in mind for it?
Must be nice to have the whole base to park your fleet on. Hows that green machine running, are you driving it much? Sorry no non Porsche projects going for me. Just CIS tuning times two, wish me luck. Cheers Richard |

Thanks Rich!
I was actually looking for a second gen Camaro, but wasn't having any luck finding a decent one when an old friend of mine calls me and says he has this 69 for sale. Plans for it are to fix the rust damage and get some paint on it and daily drive it. Later I'll do the full Pro-Touring big wheels, big brakes, and LSX based engine. The green car is doing fine and though I do love driving it, I may sell it to finance the mods to the Camaro....maybe ![]() To help with your tuning you should pick up one of these: PLX DM-6 SM-AFR | Wideband Air Fuel Gauge I have one in my car and surprisingly, my car shows 14.9 afr @ idle, around 13.6 @ light cruise and 12.8 under full throttle in 3rd gear, which is pretty good imo. It's inexpensive and a super easy install.

Thanks for the tip on the air fuel gauge, Bro. I just got the CIS trouble shooting booklet and tester gauge kit from our host. And am starting to prepare myself to dive in.
You are moving right along with the camero, are you fabing the replacement pieces that you are putting into the car? I kind of marvel at you guys that are into it for the love of the project. Leland Pate has another thread going of the toyota land crusher that he is diving into. He is really moving on with his project also, check it out. Cheers Richard |

Got a cheap Jeep to run errands with. Patched 3 bullet holes (out of 5) on the right side.

Those are really realistic looking decals you have there.

Sorry, right side... but yeah, wish they were decals. They were covered by decals and I thought they looked better uncovered. but after a while, I got tired of them and did a little body work.

![]() My grandfather's 1970 Mustang Convertible, currently in storage until I finish my 3rd car garage addition. Solid body and good mechanicals, but needs TLC associated with sitting for several years. ![]() 2003 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa, wrapping up a few minor details and I'll be selling this one. ![]() 1988 Targa, excellent mechanicals and fun to drive as is. I'm removing many of the racing bits and doing some cosmetic work. Haven't had time to do much as of yet. I just added on to my garage and I already need a bigger one. ![]()
