I don't think any key fob was ever manufactured at Porsche AG. Therefore, the discussion is moot.
That thing probably came from Beverly Hills Motor Accessories or Automotion. |

I could see this if it was water cooled .....but air cooled? Very rare.

I've got a call into Porsche North America about a possible good will repair. I have to say, I was really put off by some of the unprofessional comments from the lady on the phone. She didn't seem to feel my problem was serious enough to warrant opening a problem ticket in their system. Ferdinand would be rolling over in his grave if he knew how poorly I am being treated.

Maybe write a formal letter to the manufacturer.
