I have come to the conclusion...

that the majority of people are actually good...yet have glimpses of absolute evil. I have also come to the conclusion that there are people in this world that are basically the devil incarnate, capable of the most horrendous acts against nature and man. I am sure that this small population has something more than a chemical imbalance. It would seem it is on the atomic level - heck maybe sub-atomic. They work on a different vibration state...

The things these people can do without remorse, driven by base need or worse is simply incredible. The saving grace is that the majority of these sorts are pretty easy to identify with a little bit of observation...then there are those that just surprise the heck out of us all. The ones you would never have suspected. The mosquito you don't hear so to speak. The quite one, the one who kept to himself/herself. The one you would never have suspected...

Hang on folks, I feel a very bad disturbance. We are in for a shocker shortly...

".......... according to Jewish theology the Lord God implanted in Adam at the beginning of time, a thing called yetzer harra. It means the wayward spirit. I call it the element of irreducible rascality. And it’s very necessary to have this in order to be human."

In an old Doonesbury comic strip, Doonesbury and his nerd pal Bernie are watching the evening news. The newscaster said there is crime in the city every day, and statistically it's most likely to happen in the evening. Bernie turns to Doonesbury and yells, "There's going to be a crime tonight! Do something!"

Okay fine.... turn off the evening news.

Okay so I am getting parfy here. There are bad apples everywhere and it does not take many to spoil the whole basket. The bad apples emerge when the opportunity arises to supposedly fix a perceived wrong. This has happened in the UK with the Ira, happens with N.American interference in other countries etc. No interference in Syria is a good start to mind ones own business....

This last sentence, which appears to be a type of precognition, is actually the most logical conclusion possible based on the observed premise stated above it and is, in no way, any indicator of any specific act of horror--it's just a statement of the obvious.

Something shocking will happen, as it always does, and someone will claim, "See, Lubey was right! Oh my God, his eight ball really is prophetic!" This is no different than those who claim writings or people in the past "predicted" future events, like Nostradamus. Not only were his quatrains vague and cryptic, but those who want to believe them conveniently retro-fit later events into them.

It's akin to saying, when a well known person dies, that "Deaths come in threes." So what happens when a celebrity dies? We are on the look out for another famous person's death, until two others have died. Of course, we conveniently forget to establish a time limit on when the others will pass away. Of course, we conveniently forget that because the first death was of a famous person, we tend to remember it. We tend to forget that thousands of people die each day. When two other "famous" people finally die, our belief is validated.

Lubey eloquently stated the obvious. Unfortunately, something shocking will happen. His last sentence is a nice thread starter, that's about it.

I see the bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'.
I see bad times today.

Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.

I think that was on the soundtrack for this scene from An American Werewolf in London.

Well I will continue my theory here. A Porsche looks a lot more in place in California.
Not so much in the north country. One of these days I will get my P car down to California (my wife would not have patience to drive down there in such a small car-I will have to put her on the airlines and I can meet her there)
and I can be the cool guy.....

That is the kind of dream many achieve and an awful lot do not.

Think of the disenchanted and jealous types that cannot achieve the dream of their choice. The ones that balance on that pin and find it too easy to fall off into a dark world.

The politicians make the decisions as to going to war or not and it is us the people that suffer and get killed. If my P car gets keyed by a disenchanted then I am getting off lucky. Stay safe my friends.
