Stop the press! You sold your '72?

In 2007? Why haven't we heard about this until now?

Paul, I think that selling something to a friend for a "buddy price" is a very cool thing to do. And it sounds like you knew what it was worth at the time. I suppose anyone who sold an early S in previous years "took a schit", so NBD either. It's just that if you did it out of spite for someone on the Internet, (as opposed to keeping it), that would suck now.

My parents sold the house I grew up in in Minneapolis for under $300k in 1995. If they'd waited 5 years, it would have been worth $1M more. Or 5 perfect early 911S cars, in today's terms.

Such is life. It sounds like you did a good thing when you put it that way.

Noticed the air cleaner snorkel is facing the wrong direction. Also missing the warm air mechanism.
