If Apple designed a yacht

It would be over-priced, have everything built using proprietary parts that would would not be able to obtain except through them, require you to license what ever you use on board (such as clothes, food, music) through them so that if you wanted to travel on a different yacht you couldn't take any of your possessions to the new yacht and,
Apple would claim that nothing would be able to penetrate the security of the hull so it will never sink and as such, you can travel anywhere you want without feel of attack from pirates.

I doubt anyone on here loves boats and watercraft more than me, but that thing is disgustingly vile.

304065 nailed it.

She'd have beautiful lines... If it had any. Reminds me of the cardboard boats they make for rivers & lake charity event racing.

I want to be hip and appreciate the post-modernism of it and all, but it just seems vulgar.

Taxes I believe play a major role in some of the mega yachts that have been built.

As for the thing in the photo - not my cup of tea from that photo.

I think it looks stunning.

I do as well.

Needs a place for me to land, however.

It's not quite to my taste. The hull, to me is stunning overall. The chromed highlights on the bow and anchor are really... tacky.

The superstructure looks like a Frank Lloyd Wright 'prairie' house teleported into place.

Given infinite funding, I'd lose everything from the deck up and continue the De Stijl / Bauhaus theme of the hull.

Definitely not my cup of tea. The rearward slanting bow with its tacky chrome thing is unique to say the least. The stacked iPads are also pretty weird.

As the saying goes - "There is no accounting for taste."

It looks like one of those "Because I could" adventures. Definitely a testament to his wealth.

I almost like the hull, love the rake of the bow, but lose the chrome.
The superstructure, however, looks like a tacky beach house that has been dropped into place.
Money doesn't buy good taste.

I detest the rake of the bow. The thing looks like a river boat. It doesn't look seaworthy. Would I want to face an atlantic storm in that thing? No.

But Guys , featured in the main cabin is the framed cocktail napkin with the original design drawings.

Seeing this, I know what the designer was trying to emulate...

The monochrome paint scheme is not helping this at all

If it had a dark hull with a white superstructure.... It would have been stunning...

And I don't think its an original design...its an "interpretation"

I saw a boat (not yacht) a few weeks ago that had a very similar bow..
