Is the Squirrelinator the best Trap?

The squirrel problem thread got me to thinking about what other methods folks are using for tree and ground squirrel control.

I have been using the Squirrelinator trap for both. I relocate the tree squirrelsto my ex-wife's orchard. I dispatch the ground squirrels(as required by law you are not allowed to relocate them).

Besides all of the other you-tube fun stuff, what do others use to control these pests?

Vash,

I have had very good luck with the Squirrelinator with Ground Squirrels. I had five in one day along with two in the morning for a total of seven.

Tree squirrels are a bit trickier. My lab, Daisy, spotted them in the palms near our roof. I need to get the tree squirrels out or I will need to go through another dead one in the wall ordeal. That is not fun.

How does the Squirrelinator work? Looks like no bait and yet it gets squirrels to continue to enter even when there is already a bunch in there.

English Game Cocks. They are about the same size as the squirrels. It was rather, interesting?, to watch the roosters and hens chasing the squirrels down out of the trees and eating them. Less work on my part as well.

You do need to bait it. I use peanuts and sunflower seeds. Than the Gamo Whisper.

Look into the Squirrelinator 2 coming out next spring. It also guts and skins up to 10 squirrels, gets em ready for the crock put for you. No muss, no fuss...

How can I tell if I have ground or tree squirrels? The ones in my yard go up and down tress, across grass, everything. They are both gray and black one but mostly gray. They eat everything and chew up everything. Would LOVE to be able to catch them...does this thing really work because the Have-A-Heart traps do not catch them.

Most tree squirrels look similar to this...

Ground or rock squirrels have a less bushy tale, you will see them climb trees rarely....
