He's 63.

So we just came from the local tittty bar at the MIL's behest. Wouldn't you know it, a Chinese dancer came right up to us, said in Mandarin she's from Beijing and getting her PhD at ASU. MIL gave her a $1 bill. She spent a lot of time talking with us, asked if I wanted a lap dance, but knew I was not free to choose. I'd like to have tipped her more for spending so much time talking with us, but I was under watchful eyes. Well, they're all going to Yellowstone next weekend, so I will be alone. Hmmmmm.

How great the parents in law felt comfortable enough to ask to experience something they no doubt were curious about for a long time. The other good thing is you learned a few things about them too.

I didn't think I'd be coming back to this one so fast, but it looks like it's about to get bad. She wants her folks to come again for Xmas and I doubt it's gonna be a short visit. I told her the other night I did not want them coming again for a while, as it meant she'd use all her vacation time with them (again) and I'd end up taking a vacation alone (again). I suggested we go to China next year and visit her folks. That'd satisfy the three of them, I could do some traveling on my own there while she hangs with her folks and then they'd not have to see each other again for a year or more. Now she's searching for flights for her folks to come again. I am trying to keep my cool, but this is likely not going to end well.

This is timely...

Wife, now 10-month old, and 2 doggers are about to move into our new to us house next weekend.

Been living with the in-laws since father's day weekend, it's been easier for me than the wife as her step-dad drives her nuts (likes to consume 5-8 vodka-rocks/night)

At the end of the day, they've been gracious to let us move in, no crazy fights erupted, and harmony has remained...but we're ready to GTFO!

(I will post a thread on the house rehab we've been doing every night/weeknight for the last 2 months and next 6 weeks to come)

I should have updated this a while ago. Last year they came again for two months. It was easy peasy, a total joy. I think I cooked one meal for everyone and otherwise only for myself when they were all traveling.

Now they're here again, only for a month. I can do that standing on my head. AND they're going to Puerto Rico and Miami for eight days. Oh man, I'm gonna move a full Marshall stack into the living room, while streaming porn on the tv and stacking pizza boxes and beer cans. If I didn't have to use up an expiring coupon at a restaurant tonight, they'd be cooking for me again. All dinners are otherwise cooked by them. I really like this, and I still hate everyone.
