Yes! Thank you everyone!!!! Again, you guys shouldn't have but goodness, so appreciated! I don't even know what to say. You guys are the most special group of guys... Joe, you will have to apologize to your friend. I must have bored her with my stories of the Pelican guys.

Again, Joe, thank you for lunch. And for all the guys and gals that were a part of this, thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. Joe did admit who was behind all of this so Redbeard, you are gonna get a PM from me and you are in sooooo much trouble! Love all you guys. Really. I mean that. Even though I haven't met all of you, know that you made my day. Heck, made my holidays. Not just because of the gift cards but because I know there are truly good people out there. Muwah! Hugs and kisses to all of you!

Here's my pic. I feel like I wasn't smiling in yours, Joe. I wasn't really smiling in this one either. Go figure.

Joe's car is very nice. We have to go for a spin next time, Joe. Spent too much time talking it up.

David,

Its really all Joe Bob and Ingo's fault. I was over in SoCal years ago (about 2004) and met with them and Dan B and had a drink or three. First got a ride with Mike then one with Ingo and was hooked on the "3.6" craze.

Backdated the car from 1985 to 1973 RS status and stuffed a 3.6 in it... and a month later lost my job. Was 5 more years until I was working on a regular basis and the car sat. Finally back to work and able to finish the car and now its a daily driver if needed. Really happy with the conversion.

Excuse me? The two ladies spent most of the time talking about flying and airplanes!

Here, without the female distraction!

If both of the ladies would have been in the picture, am sure you would not notice the car at all!

We forgot to get a pic with Julie in it... but you would not like her. Tall, blonde, and smart as a whip. Even flies her own airplane... what she sees in me is a good question!

David,

It really is fun to drive, especially with the 3.6 in the back. Engine is box stock and used to be in Bill Verburg's car. More power than most cars should have and just fun.

Yes that is a factory hard top on the car, so the best of both worlds. Took a while to find it but its worth it...

Love the backdated cars as you have a rust free car, good A/C and so on but looks like I want, a "long hood" model 911 especially without the impact bumpers.

Joe

We discussed giving IV's but I forgot to tell them that mine would have vodka in it.

Hey Tweeze!

Happy Thanksgiving! And don't be surprised if Santa still shows up with a few presents.

The response has been overwhelming! I may have come up with the idea and bounced it off a couple of other people (cough-Joe-cough-Hugh). But it is a huge group of Pelicans that see you as a part of our community.

We are all just glad we can help!

Happy Thanksgiving, guys! I still don't know how to thank you guys. You guys made it so I can actually enjoy the holiday without as much stress. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can just concentrate on my boys and family. Thank you for giving me that. Thats the best preaent ever. Muwah!

And Redbeard, that is the nicest thing to say. And Joe gave me hint there is more to come. What can I say to that? The more I refuse, the more it seems to egg you guys on! So I will succumb. But I will address you in private, mister!

Buckterrier, interesting. Nobody has ever ASKED me for an IV. Most of the time the joke is for mouth to mouth, but since you guys have been so nice... Sure, I will stick a 1.25 inch long, 18 gauge needle in your arm.
