Has to be a real tree. Here in the NM mountains I usually get some really sparse fir that not even Charlie Brown would envy. Lucked into a stand of spruce this year so finally, for the first time in 12, we have a tree that'll hold ornaments!

I love that we put it on a timer to go on at 0500. Can see the glow down the hall from bed. Usually leave it up through January, though without ornaments. We call it our Seasonal Affective Disorder tree...
