Varmint and I are in total agreement. A sure sign the Mayan apocalypse is for real...

Man, you put yourself out there on this board! Bravo to you. I do the Goatee every few years. I can't stand the mustache part of it. It really itches when it comes in. Then it starts getting pretty long and you start shaping it, (that actually takes longer then just shaving). You start thinking maybe its groomed to neatly and people think you are trying to be Prince. Then you just shave it. This runs through my head on occasion and I just jump to my last thought.

creepy panic attack time. i need to rethink my beliefs now.

goatees are currently too fashionable among people i dislike. the rest of the time they're just dumb looking.

maybe 1 guy in 100 can pull it off. if you're not the emperor of mongo it's best not to try.

I'm bald, so my goatee is my only hair left!

I tend to have one during the Fall/Winter/Spring and shave it during the summer.

My e-wife wasn't a fan of facial hair, but that no loger is a consideration.

Looks good Mike. Like I said, some people it really suits. I have an attorney friend who grew one because he needed some wisdom looking years. It does work well for him.

Cool. I appreciate the photo too, nice not to put yourself out there alone.

Instant wisdom... Hmm. I wonder if I can get a pay raise with mine?

I'm not a facial hair guy anymore - although I've had 3 beards in my days.
You look striking/handsome with it - I say keep it, but keep it neat as it is now.

I think the Mayan end of the world is starting to happen... I feel a strange (yet familiar) strong gravitational pull sideways towards the beer fridge, so I better get my answer in quickly.

Umm, I don't know but you should go to a bar or cafe and ask the sort of female that you would like the attentions of and ask her opinion.

Goatees are a 90s thing - every mid aged guy who still has one looks like he hasn't gotten the memo that they are OUT. That is OOO UUU TTT. As mentioned above - full beard only. If you can't do that - shave.

I vote for keeping it. it takes some chutzpah to rock a goatee. Btw, technically a goatee + 'stache is called a Van Dyke, which I prefer. I'm fortunate in that it is the only way my facial hair grows out. makes it easy.
