My pet peeves: 1) "would you like to round up you change for xxxxx scholarship fund"? NO! I want to round down. 2) Would you like to make a donation? Yes, I'll match whatever you donate - get your wallet out and I'll match what you donate. 3) Would you like to sell your house? Yes, I'll accept a $2mil all cash offer, otherwise stop bugging me. 4) Police cars that don't use their turn signals - set an example! |

I go to Lowe’s quite frequently to pick up stuff, and at the self check outs, there’s like three items I have to click off skip or no, to pay. It’s frustrating!

You click on something for sale on Ebay. Initially, there's some info about the item, you scroll down some only to be confronted with info about other auctions, other similar things, then misc irrelevant crap and ads, then pages later finally, details of the item you were interested in to begin with.

Pelican forum subject lines that don't indicate what the thread's about. So you have to click on it to find out if you're remotely interested.

The dumb arse who built a bookcase for the downstairs family room, which was too big to fit down the stairwell and had to be disassembled to go down.
Oh yeah. That was me. ![]() Best Les

Get off my lawn!
|
The very rural road near my house that I use to go south to get on I-35 often has no traffic at all at the three stop signs at every section line one mile apart. I was behind a guy that no only came to a stop, but waited 1s seconds to get going again. No traffic in sight as far as the eye can see, and he ios doing a 10 second count.
I understand coming to a full and complete stop, but there is no need to wait when there is no traffic at all except behind you, get moving!

People driving with their dog in their lap and his head out the driver’s window…or did I already complain about that one.?

Entitled F'ers that pull up and park at the gas pump never buying any fuel of any sort. Happened again just now. Some jerk and his wife (who looked like a walking loaf of bread still in the pan-- IYKYK) blocked 2 pumps with his antennae festooned, flatbed converted, Scheiße-box "bear rig" for 20 minutes. Asshat.

I went to pick up BBQ today. Both times that I got in the interstate with a posted speed of 75 (avg speed 80), I was behind someone that was trying to merge at 50.

media who gather information and then report it as substantial information through the results of "surveys" and phone polls.
its laughable, Now who in their right mind takes time out of their busy day to fill in "online surveys" or participate in "phone polls" ? I know that for myself Im pretty quick to hang up if I get a robocall to answer a "phone poll or to click away from any sort of " online poll" the results are only polling people who do, which is a very thin slice of th total whoi were bothered. whay does "media " rely on it so often? its a cheap way to present inacurate info under some assumption that polls are accurate. real polls happen in privacy at polling stations. rant off,, ;-) |
