$85.21 for unlimited high speed internet and my phone service. That of course doesn't include my two Iphones on AT&T contract.

As to the Verizon hotspot/aircards. My direct reports all live on an aircard for work. Some on Sprint and it's solid 'where' you can get a signal. All the folks that have moved to Verizon have had issues. Every time Verizon pushes out a software/firmware update we run into problems. McAfee updates will affect with the Verizon cards as well. If you stay at Verizon's tech help they will eventually get you working but in our experience you have to badger them unmercifully for a few days straight otherwise they'll never get back to you. Since we're in mostly rural areas with limited 4G most of my guys have had the 4G service deactivated so they can stay on a slower but much more stable 3G connection. Most of the new VZ Access Mgr software has this feature hidden so you need VZ tech to do this for you. We've found when the card jumps from 4G to 3G the laptops drop signal and this plays havoc with our VPN. One other thing to look at for aircards moreso than hotspots is adjusting the power management setting for your USB ports. Lot of power management schemes will turn off power or idle USB ports. Turn these features off and the USB will stay hot all the time. -J |

$61 Per month, Speakeasy Internet DSL. The connection I have isn't even available anymore, been connected since 2001. I forget the speeds. I was upgraded at no cost at some point due to loyalty. It's fast and never goes down.

CenturyLink DSL, 40mbps/5mbps, this is probably the highest it has tested, $45/mo
![]() the S/O has a Verizon MiFi 4G MiFi card for work, tops out at 5mbps at best...rarely. I think it's $57/mo.

Crazy... I'm using Straight Talk in my iPhone and tethering to it as needed. I pay nothing to cable or satellite tv - exactly what it's worth. My cost is $45 a month - phone. & data, no contract & no BS

my 4G phone internet costs me $80pm for 1gb of data (measured in 1mb packets up and down, and there are no unlimited options, and the most you can get is 3gb for $130pm), and the 4G coverage is very patchy. Usually it's 3G coverage at best.
My home internet is ADSL2 and costs me $70pm for 40gb of data (measured up and down). Home: ![]() Mobile: ![]()
