You're not old. We're babies compared to Past generations. We seem to be ageing better.
Now if your were 75 ish then yes that's getting old but I know plenty of people in their 80s who still live great lives.

I turned 63 last wednesday. Congrats!
Band practice today (Bass player). Softball every tuesday and thursday.
Got my grand-daughter for an overnighter sunday.
As you know, staying real busy is the key once you retire.
My father is 86 and I am taking him to the Salt Flats in september for a time trial run(s) in the Porsche.
Life is good. Enjoy it. You earned it.

Well you are relatively young. I am 66. 80 to me is likely to be enough. I can be a pita now, I can't imagine what I will be like when I am 80. Significant to me is to be able to walk fast, have all my senses and stay out of the old folks home. More and more people call be sir , especially down in the States.

Being called "sir" by little punks with their pants falling down is one of the only good things about getting old. I look like a slightly younger version of Clint in "Gran Torino" these days and act about the same.

Sounds like you've had a great life so far. Enjoy... Get out and meet some new people.

I've known people who died young. One of my best friends died at 33 from an accidental drug overdose. Sucks...
