Amazing. I guess if one has to ask how much does it cost they can't afford it.

I will own a monster AMG one of these days. The sound an AMG makes when its hunkering down and spooling up is pretty sweet. Heck, our C250 only has something like 190HP and it scoots pretty well!

Pricing has yet to be announced, but Mercedes is tipped to place the CLA in the same price bracket as the entry-level C-Class, so expect it to come in around the $35,000 ...Mercedes Unveils New CLA in Detroit

The new CLA looks really nice on the outside. Not sure how I feel about front wheel drive and that huge monitor in the middle of the dash sticking up. Looks tacked on. Could MBZ pull off a FWD with no torque steer?

35K plus options would probably make it a 50K deal but I could do that.

The CLA is thier smallest entry level car. The new E63 will be 100k plus.

I was at the dealer checking out cars on Saturday. It was not easy to find a new MBZ for less than 100K. My sales guy friend said sales were off the hook in December, and they are a very large dealer. Say what you want about California, but evidently, we seem to like our pricey cars

I gave my MB to my daughter and every time I drive it, I kick myself for not keeping it. I can see an AMG in my future.

My ROW Targa was Federalized by AMG, that is probably the closest I'll get to one.

Definitely in the market for a CLA in the next 2-3 years. Friend of mine drove the A Class in Europe when she lived there and can't say enough good things about it. That AMG is awesome but just stupidly unaffordable. That price range is far too saturated anyway IMHO - cool as it is it'll get no market share at all and will have a run of maybe 2-3 years.
