A gallon of whole milk a week from Trader Joe's or the local family dairy (for So. CA folks, the late Huell Howser's favorite dairy).

I had a long conversation with a coffee roaster because I was saying that the lattes out of our machine didn't seem right. He asked me what milk we were using. We'd been on a supermarket brand as it was about half the price at the time.
He said that there was a huge difference in the way milk is manufactured and the supermarket brands were rubbish, something about the way they manufacture a base and then add whatever to get the various finished product (ie. full fat, low fat, etc). Taking this on board we switched to A2 and immediately noticed a difference. One of our staff is a bit intolerant to too much dairy and she said she was feeling so much better for it. I doubt the A2 is around in the US but it's everywhere on Melbourne. I've also found the Pura permeate free to be good as well. Maybe try some of this more natural products that some of the bigger supermarkets carry.

Can't touch the stuff. My last experience with milk was in 1969, chow hall serving powdered milk at room temp, 95F. One sip and it came through my nose. So long, moo juice.
