i'm going to create a gun sanctuary/boarding house. all the new yorkers can just send me their weapons, and i'll take care of them for the next 20-30 years.

you all can come up and visit your guns when you want.

Matt, I'm right behind you, if not in front of you! My wife and I are serious starting to look on where we want to go. Thinking TN or GA. Have to do our research and see where we want to be, and where are kids are going to end up. Right now we have one in Atlanta and the other is in his forth year at RIT. So soon no more ties to here.

We have had a rash of calls from NY state from people asking if they can come to our shop in PA, buy guns in PA and then drive them home to NY. And it begins.......

Pay us. We ship the gun to your FFL where you will be arrested and we keep yer money LOL.

No really we just tell them no we won't do that. We can't sell to a nonresident over the counter. Gotta send it to an FFL in their state.

that would be correct...a least not from us. Now a gunshow?? That may be different.We are on the OH PA border and get people from OH in all the time. As an FFL we cannot do anything but ship to your FFL in your state. Now if you are in an adjoining state to PA private sales are allowed without involving an FFL. But that is a risk as you don't do any transfer of ownership. The gun could be stolen and you don't know it.

That is where we are looking ! We have one of our adult children in New Mexico and the other is in Virginia. That leaves a pretty wide swath across the country to find a better place.

Does anyone even make seven round clips for Glock 19? What are you supposed to do with your guns if you cannot find a seven round clip for them? I have heard rumors that the idiot sorry I mean Govenor was in such a rush to sneak this into law that he made some mistakes and that there will be challenges changing some of the new rules. But I would also love to get out of this ridiculous state. Maybe that is what he is hoping for if everyone who does not agree with his views leaves he can become a dictator like that other idiot Mayor Bloomberg

You can keep the 10-rnd mags. Just can't load any more than 7 rnds next year.

The idiot governor was in such a hurry to take our rights away that he forgot to exempt law enforcement officials.

Hey Dave I bought the Baker you are repairing from Cabellas in Hamburg when I was in Pa. for business. I just had to show my Ct. CCW & DL. Not sure if it's the same for rifles but the shotgun was able to be bought from an out of stater & taken home.

I have Arkansas on my list. Another thing for me is the taxes. Being retired that can hurt...like it does here in NY . My wife was doing some research on the various states yesterday (as was I ). We'll see and compare notes when she gets home from work today.
