Pelican OT? It gives me a place to dump all the crap in my desk at the end of the year with the PPOT Gift Exchange, saves a trip to Goodwill.

And I get lots of good info. I haven't had to pay for a visit to a doctor, lawyer, stockbroker, mechanic, architect, engineer, contractor, computer programmer or lubrication specialist in years with what I've gleaned from this site. Heck, we've got so many dang pilots here, I bet I could fly a plane and I've never had a lesson.

I get a lot of enjoyment, an education and laughs at the same time.

Also it gives me a real insight to how different day to day life can be like in some parts of the USA compared to my own daily life.

As mentioned before there are so many people with so much knowledge on what ever subject you can think of.

Random picture thread is a favourite with my kids but I'm always in control of the mouse as occasionally I have to skip past a picture that I would rather not have to try and explain
