Seriously, guys and gals, how much time do you spend on PPOT?

I'll "check in" maybe 5-10 times per day on weekdays, that is if both my practices are running "smoothly" and if I'm not too busy with patients. At about ten minutes per perussal, depending on whether the topics are engaging or not, that adds up to probably 1 to 1.5 hrs per day....times 4 work days equals 4 to 6 hrs plus probably 1/2 hr per day weekends times 3 equals to let's say 5.5 to 7.5 hrs.....round that up a bit maybe....so about 10 hrs per week!...OK, probably closer to 1/2 day per week so.......gawd?!? 26 days per year?!?

...what a waste of time!!!

Who's next?

Cheers!

Alex

no wonder my Dr who owns a Porsche 911 is always 30-40 minutes late to my appointment......I 2nd that Slacker comment if you're doing it at work in a medical service industry, even as a vet,

Dr's that always run late are a big pet peeve of mine. no offense.

Let's just say I'm aware of the existence of PPOT.

I hear ya Rusty!...I hate waiting too!

As I had mentioned, if all is running well and, I should have added "and on time".......I'll "slack off" a bit..

I spend absolutely NO time on PPOT... I mean what an absurd wast of time... people blathering on and on about bathroom habits and road trips and boobies and panties.. I mean really what are these people thinking? Reminds me of a time when I was trekking across the Mojave's desert and I met an iguana, very interest fellow indeed, seems he was the reincarnation of a French revolution general.....

I look in for a few minutes during the day if I have time. I'll spend an hour in the evenings reading various threads.

For quite a while I kept count of: how many times someone said "I have never done or worked or etc, etc, BUT......." and ran out of paper.

I used to keep track of how many misspelled words in a title but the number got too big also.

Finally I used to count how many times someone would ask for "advice" when in all reality they should see a lawyer, doctor, etc, etc, etc but gave up on that.

I have found that the above items show up here much more than any of the programming languages, gun or truck boards I visit daily.............Makes it interesting I think.

None at all. Going to the bad part of town and getting mugged would be less painful. Encountering my ex-wife would be less painful. A high-speed crash would be less painful.

My God man grow a set! There is nothing but pantywaisted, hornswaggled scallywags running amuck around here and for the most part none have the teeth to gum a bowl of egg noodles…

Why I remember back in the day when serious brew ha ha was rampant! Men would drive hours to confront and confound one another!

Now a days its just awkward pauses and snappy quips. I long for the time of ago...when men were men and the women only watched in owe and admiration...

It was no place for the weak or the timid thats for sure, thats for dang sure.

My wife says I spend too much time on PP. My response is that I'm in the house, not at some bar. I have a lot of down time between takes on the Set, so I hang here. I also travel a lot and need some time here. Walking the streets of many US and foreign cities at night isn't a wise idea.

Same as Hugh - if I'm traveling, more PPOT time.

If I am waiting on a meeting with a client, I have the urge to find a Starbucks and drag out my old laptop to see what the boys are saying here. Sometimes I will keep it log in to PPOT and read it when I have nothing to do. Too bad There's always some BS going on. In the evening after 9, I am usually on here because I am actually doing work on my desk and muti-task with PPOT on one part of my screen.

Why is this place so additive?
