Daytona 500 predictions

I 'll start. Danika will drop back to mid pack within a couple laps of the start and will cause a wreck by lap 33. JR will hit the wall with about 35 laps left before checkered flag.I am not a Danika or JR hater, but this is kinda what they always seem to do. Smoke will win.

Lets hear it people, what're your predictions ?

I watched the start and made it through 8 laps. They all looked the same.

Well, I had the 33rd lap right. Danika wasn't in it. Smoke is in bad shape....car wise, so no win for him. Lets see if I get the Earnhardt part right...LOL

I predict there will be more commercials than racing.
I predict there will be a crash with 2 laps remaining.

I'm starting to root for her here at halfway. But the crash-fest won't really come until the final laps, then we'll see who survives. Green-white restart with one to go and a massive crash on that final sprint to the flag.

I give her credit, she really seems to have it together for this race. I was skeptical at first considering her prior races (in NASCAR), but I am impressed with her performance. I think it would be pretty darn cool if she can win it.

Yeah I have nothing against her what so ever. She even seems to have gotten less bratty. I wouldn't mind if she won either. The problem is on large tracks in nascar it is nothing but luck of the draw in the end.

On Danica,

I earlier predicted that she would finish running but not on the lead lap. This was

based mostly on my concern about another rookie pit stop kind of goof up, I

would be happy if I was proved wrong!

Looks like she is doing real well!!!

It would be great if she could get into the top ten!

im a nascar fan and wish them well! but, this was a ride around for 180 laps and a 20 lap sprint. very boring and too much emphasis on danica! maybe the best approach after the nationwide race but not especially entertaining? at least the nationwide racers raced the race!

Danica got played at the end! She sounded peeved that no one would help her and that when Dale Jr. went he got lots of help. Oh well, that's racin'.

She was playing it safe and got played in the end. She admitted that she was running half throttle behind Biffle. Perhaps she should have taken a chance earlier to get around Biffle, she certainly seemed to have plenty of car for it. I am happy for her aside from anything else. She ran her best Nascar race.
