Well, the issue is that VP Biden stated to a woman that she would be better off with a double barrel 12 guage shotgun than an AR-15. The video shows otherwise.

I wish this video would get played in the MSM. So many stupid people have no clue about guns yet they jump on the "ban assault rifles" bandwagon. I would also like the general public to see the difference between what an AR15 .22" diameter bullet vs a hollow point .45 or 12 ga birdshot does at close range. I would rather be shot "at close range" with an AR15 vs grandpa's 12 ga shotgun if I had to choose.

The issue is Biden telling a bunch of people (who happen to be women in this case) to go out and buy a gun when most of them probably have no business owning a gun in the first place. Those women in the video have no business owning guns. Are you trying to say that no woman can shoot a shotgun?

While I laughed at that video, it's roughly equivalent to showing a video of experienced gun owners trying to shoot a 600 Nitro pistol and then using that as an argument that men shouldn't own pistols.

In a home invasion, self defense situation I would imagine a shotgun would be better than an assault rifle.

I live in SoCal. My home is built with 2x6 studs and sheetrock. A shotgun with 00 buck does not fragment. Guaranteed it's going to leave my abode and travel unless it meets multiple sheer walls or the ground. I have a couple magazines of frangible ammo loaded in .223. The noise will be incredible but it will fragment on meeting flesh or sheetrock quickly. Plus a very minimal recoil so even my 13 yr daughter...who loves shooting this round...will be capable. YMMV.

Further proof that Biden is a moron. The last thing I would suggest to a woman in fear would be to grab a double barrel shotgun, walk outside, then unload both barrels into the darkness. Now she is unarmed, outside the protection of her home, and has committed a crime. Nice.....

The video also documents its fair share of morons, my wife has been shooting a shotgun since her teen years. While an AR15 is certainly easier to shot from a recoil standpoint, in close quarters it would also be easier to miss. Personally I'm grabbing my 9mm or .45, simply because they are quickest to hand and the easiest to maneuver through a home.
