This forum needs a ....
buddy system. For instance Dueller Jim has not been heard from for a while.
I hope that he is okay? Some of us are getting up there in age and I think that if a person became ill then their buddy should have a ph. number they can contact the ailing individual or relatives to check on his/her status. I am just throwing this out there. |

Seems a fair amount of members are friends off the board and do check in on each other.

The thought is nice but I personally think enough of my life is visible here, at least as much as I want public so I really don't encourage being watched anymore than the government is already doing.

I think we could have an Info Central person, like they have in many families and in meetup groups... a person who has shown that they are mature and trustworthy, and also not so busy with life that they are away from the forum for days at a time. The latter criteria rules out the moderators of this forum, and even many of the regulars here.
I nominate Laneco and Sidney to be our co-Info Central people. _ |
