We got the condo, Vacation in hawaii anyone?

With all these winter Pics showing up i guess its time to put it out there that we did close on a nice two bedroom condo in Princeville Kauai. Its located alongside of holes 7 and 8 of the golf course, and on the bluff with ocean view. Near by trail to beach.

We are in the middle of a refresh, paint, changing the cabinet faces, some different furniture, etc. It will be ready right after new years.

It is a two bedroom second floor unit. Here are a some pics.

These are just some shots that I took when we were looking at the unit. And as I said some changes are under way.

The price is $150 per night (4 day minimum) $1,000 per week plus taxes and cleaning fees.
We are happy to offer a 10% discount to visiting pelicans.

Once we get the current work done, will get some good pics and post a listing on VRBO etc. This is sort of a prelisting offer to pelicans

PM me for inquiries.

Cheers Richard

Maybe next year... PM sent... ignore question about beach access, I see it in your post.

Pleas send me the link when you get it up... want to show it to my wife but not sure I want her to see my PPOT alter ego.

FWIW I have vacationed near here about a dozen times... one of my favorite places on earth... and this is a great deal!

I mean.. except for the zombie lobsters that come out of the ocean at night and suck out your brains while you sleep

Mine... all mine... mine, mine, mine!!!

Thanks Scott, Yep you got to guard against those mad brain sucking lobsters. Its just so hard sleeping in a helmet.
I'll put you on my list to contact with the listing once we get it up.

I'm just trying to get the ball rolling with my preferred customers, and hate to wait too long into the winter and miss the season.

Plus seeing all the deep snow pics and talk of snow blowers makes my feel for some of you out there.

Cheers Richard

For sure Tweez, I all ready had you on my list, from the other posting.
It will be good fun to hang with you and the boys. My guys are 15 and 11. yours?

Hows the job search going. I did notice some listings for nurses here while checking Craig"s List this morning. But, I'll bet some good offers all all ready coming in.

I'm heading off to the condo to paint for the rest of the day, so I'll check back in later

Cheers Richard

Thanks Noah for the kind words. At this point the calender is wide open as we are waiting till we finish the refresh and are able to get nice pics of it looking real good, to post with the listing.
I'm pretty sure it will be done before Christmas, but things here can present delays so
after the new year should be no problem.

So we are ready to start taking reservations for any time after that.

BRPORSCHE Its really busy in the summer months. With peaks around the Holidays.

Cheers Richard

Went to Hawaii earlier this year in March. Kauai was my first stop and I arrived literally the day after north-eastern Kauai was declared a disaster area (Richard probably remembers those days, roads were flooded over). Couldn't hike the north shore...bummer!

I definitely recommend Kauai/Maui/Big Island as a vacation. If you want adventure, do a rafting expedition to the Na Pali shore of Kauai.

EDIT: If you want motivation, see my photo gallery. http://imgur.com/a/jWvPd

Wow, looks like you found a nice place in a great area. I might be up for a week of sunshine and that place looks like my idea of relaxing. We celebrate 25 years of marriage next August and are currently looking at all inclusive resorts......$$$$

Richard, sorry to hijack your thread but maybe we'll drop in next year to check out your condo. I understand that we are basically up and across the street from you!
We are booked for March 31 - April 7/13...can't wait!

Cheers!

Wrong Island.............sorry..............

The Big Island and Kona Side kicks butt over Princeville and Kauaii...............SO MUCH DIFFERENT to see on the Big Island, heck you drive drive the full limits of the main roads west to east on Kauaii in what, 3-4 hours?

I love Kauaii don't get me wrong, but the Big Island from Kona to Hilo and 13,---- foot mountains and all day driving between soooo many climates, have so much more to offer without all the over-crowding and small island feel.

THESE BOOKS ROCK........regardless of which island you visit.

I prefer Kauai over Big Island, and Princeville/Hanalei Bay is my favorite area. Richard I may take you up on that. Looks like I would walk to H-Bay.

Looks great Richard. No immediate vacation plans for us. I'm still paying from when we were there last. Speaking of which, sorry we missed you when we were there. Seems that we hit everywhere in Kauai except Princeville. Next time for sure. I still have your number.
