my wife's cat is close to the end too. she poops thinking she is IN the cat box, but she is actually right outside. sad to watch.

I adopted 2 cats in 2000 as well. They're 17 and 14, respectively. So I will be losing them in the next few years.

All we can do is assure they have the best possible life while they're with us. Looks like your cats have a great home.
