Fluoridated Water - Yes/No?

We in Portland have a vote coming up, on whether our tap water should be fluoridated.

How should I vote? And why?

Causes autism in kids when the mother drinks it while incubating... So, no.

I personally believe flouride helps prevent tooth decay and does not cause other problems.

That said, I would still vote no.

Why?

Because those opposed do sincerely believe the stuff is poison. I shouldn't have the right to force them to consume it...

Didn't Portland city council order flouridation, then people gathered signatures in order to place the issue on the ballot?

That is an indication of how strongly those opposed feel.

I would vote NO. One of the most extensive studies was done by Dr. Paul Connett. He's a Professor of Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in NY.

He's got a video on YouTube. I won't drink it any longer (and haven't for two years) after watching his video.

If you brush your teeth with Crest or Colgate it has stannous fluoride. Tin fluoride.

I have a customer who has a very rare type of cancer (some kind of bone cancer I believe)

He called me cause his doctor said fluoride needs to be removed from his water because it makes his condition worse

I have never been asked to remove this from water so I contacted my water treatment manufacture and they said it is almost impossible to remove.
They would not recommend any kind of equipment due to his health and the extreme cost that would be involved

funny thing is that if you google flouride removal you will find many snake oil companies claiming their equipment will remove it. Thats what sucks with my business, water treatment is not regulated so these companies can claim anything they want

I believe using floride topically on the tooth surface hardens it. Good.

When drinking it diluted, 99.999% goes into the gut.

But hey, Chin Shi Huan Ti (first emporer of China) drank mercury to make himself immortal, and the Romans loved the sweet taste from lead pipes.

I would vote NO.

Reason: We should not medicate the general population via their most basic need.

I personally do like fluoride in the water for growing kids. But if you would like fluoride in your diet, you can add it yourself.

On a related subject, I really dislike milk and OJ spiked with crap that doesn't come in it, like vitamins and calcium ... but there at least you can chose to buy a different brand. Not so if it comes out of your tap.

Aren't the chem-trails bad enough?

Heil NO for a couple reasons
1 - if they put it in , You no longer have a choice..those who want it should not have it subsidized Go BUY it them selves !
2- It has some really bad side effects...in the 70s it was said to to be carcinogenic.
3-When has Govt made good decisions for you ?

Correct, distilled water or even a water distiller.
