OK qualifying questions: New or used? Must it be road legal?

Lots of candidates, but I think it would be a 427 Cobra. My all-time favorite.

I do appreciate a lot of the other cars already mentioned, though: GT40, 917, XJ13, McLaren F1. And a couple not listed yet: D-type/XKSS, BMW CSL, 908/3, 935-76, Ferrari 512S.

Funny how almost no new cars are on anyone's list above.

the "all expenses covered" clause covers road repairs, right?

barring this, probably the gull wing.

I must be getting old. I'm rather partial to this:

Hey, If I don't have to pay for it or pay to maintain it, might as well go in style.

Les might be on to something here....many of the general public wouldn't have a clue what it is if you shaved the emblems, perhaps changed the grille a bit.

I didn't think Porsche made any that were street legal. I thought the street legal versions came from Dauer.

When I was younger, I thought the 300SL Gull-wing was the shiznet, but as I've aged, I think I prefer the open topped 300SLs.

I think this is more attractive than the F40. The F40 is an amazing car, but they aren't pretty.

I've been in a few and driven one. You can't be sad behind the wheel of a freaking Bentley. It's just not possible
