UPGARBAGE DAY with neighbor=Bags thrown. UPDATE!!

Hello.
My next door neighbors are usually gone for the long weekend. Today was Garbage day. Last night I put my three bags with the red tie knot next to theirs.
I just thought that the Garbage Man had one less stop.

This early morning I was surprised to see my neighbors truck on the driveway.
I saw from`inside my house that he inspected the bags-my bags- and he threw all bags back onto my lawn.
I went outside and told him why I did what I did.
He said "don't ever mix your filthy garbage next to mine".

I rarely speak with him and his wife . I am a good neighbor. Quiet and respectful.
At Xmas, I approached the front porch and gave them a very good bottle of wine.

I have never met a man that could not look me in the eyes during even a short conversation like my neighbor.
Weird.

Update.........
Its garbage day tomorrow.
I see that the neighbor has purchased new and different LIME GREEN BAGS with a Yellow tie and has made a type of cart to hold at least four of HIS bags and a plastic can.
There is a new tree-Spruce- planted on the corner of his lot next to mine . To the left of that Spruce is where he puts his garbage buggy and the spruce is acting as a border or blocker.
Is this what happens to SOME when the get old and married?
Ridiculous...but funny.

his garbage don't stink...

Wow

You need better neighbors.

Mine is out of town and texted me to ask if I'd bring his bins in.

Maybe I should go back over to his place, throw them on his lawn and text him a pic of it.

No reason to speak or have anything to do with him or his family again. If he ever says anything to you just tell him to STFU.

Your neighbor handled the sitch badly, but I would get charged extra if I put out more than my allotted amount of cans...

"Do not disturb" sign is being displayed.

I'd invite your neighbors over for tea and crumpets, engagage them in trivial conversation, then, on a prearranged signal between you and your wife/GF/significant other/hooker of the evening, deliver a steel tipped shoe, devastating kick to the gonads whilst the wife/etc. grabs the neighbor beyotch by the hair and swings her about until she cries, "AUNT!".

That is all that I can suggest at this time.

Good luck. SmileWavy

He does seem rather sensitive. I think give him sex and travel advice (fu ck off).

The guy I share a driveway/access road (and therefore garbage stop) is an azzhat about the can. Our trash is picked up around 8am, we're all off to school/work, etc. He waits for the garbage truck, when it leaves he puts my can in the middle of the access road/drive and takes his can in. I feel bad for the garbage guy but now I put my can on the other side of the access road.

Hey kid, GET OFF MY LAWN !!!

There are people that I feel compelled to let know that while I appreciate the communication, there is no need to get rude about it. You would be doing him a favor by not letting him be a bully, and if you let him, he will always think it is your fault, and that you deserved it.

+1
Same here. If that was his motivation the guy is a dick for not saying so. If it wasn't, he's just a dick.

What's his wife look like?

Got to put some perspective on the situation.:D

URY914 06-29-2013 03:48 AM

Like all neighbors he'll need help with something one day. ;)

GH85Carrera 06-29-2013 03:49 AM

Wow. My neighbor can over and put my garbage out for collection and put the empty bins back in the back yard while I was out of town on vacation.

You have a real looser of a neighbor. That sucks.

911_Dude 06-29-2013 03:51 AM

What a tool.

Next time you see him say
"Hey, about that garbage- Im not saying your a dickhead"
"But you head looks just like a dick"

DanielDudley 06-29-2013 03:52 AM

Ah, I didn't realize this was you Mike. Weird things happen to you all the time, for no apparent reason... I still think you need to get some form of counseling. Because wherever you go, there you are.

What do you suppose is the common denominator ?

Jim Richards 06-29-2013 04:06 AM

The neighbor is a dick. However, Mike could have prevented this situation by just putting his garbage where he normally does. If Mike adds his garbage to the neighbor's, just to make life easier on the garbage collector, maybe more neighbors will do the same thing. Pretty soon, the pile in front of Mike's neighbor's house will block it from view. LOL

The proper remedy for this is to go and place all his garbage bags next to yours on your property......then take a picture......then put them back........the next day tape the pic to his door with a note made out of magazine clippings which says his garbage is corrupting your garbage and it stops now and puts the lotion on the skin.....

I have had some issues with some of my neighbors and they with me but we just talk about it. Something along the lines of "yanno that bothers me, what can we do about it"
I guess I am just lucky to have mostly decent neighbors. Sans the old bat across the street that is afraid of the dark.
