Our cat looks similar to yours, and used to puke that stuff up all the time, now just once in a while or about once a month.

She now loves the routine of brushing and then sitting, standing or speaking for her treats, and listens much better to other commands. We lock her up in the kitchen at night to prevent her from chewing on cords, she will go to the kitchen when called, but we have to bait her with her favorite cardboard nesting box.

She loves paper and the drawings I leave on the floor while I'm working at home.

Welcome to my world. One of our cats is extremely strategic with her placements. I try not to piss her off. She is really big on revenge.

***** pee'd in my shoe.

one sign of hyperthyroid is lots of barfing when they didn't do it before. they waste away. lost 3 cats so far to that condition. there was a recent writeup that fire retardant caused it, among other things. and guess where fire retardant is. not just in foam and furniture, but in cat food.

The Blook Blook sound should be turned into an alarm clock. Nothing gets you up like the sound of Blook....Blook...Blook...

Had a short hair tabby that would have about one or two hairballs a day. Vet said a pat of butter on her food would help with digestion and stop the hairballs. She would just eat around the butter. Stupid hooman....

Iodine 131 therapy.

Not cheap but it works.

Turok was a 20 lb beast who had wasted away to 11 lbs. He was pretty close to dead and we did the Iodine 131.

He got back up to and has maintained 17 lbs for the last 3 years. We keep him a bit light to help his arthritis.

I have four cats so I always have some kind of "land mine" to avoid from one of them.
Have you ever noticed that they don't chuck, they open their mouth and back off the yack

The biggest offender is 19; every now and then he will gorge himself - completely clean out the food bowl - and then promptly hork it all up. Then he just walks away as if nothing happened.
