This week's tool score
I have a thing for Hazet, preferrably the older type. Managed to buy this last week on the local auction site. After a cleanup, turned out pretty nice.

Awesome! The only Hazet tool I own is the 911 head stud tool.

Was a time when those were the only tools one needed to do 99% of repairs on a car.

Nice one. I have a few Hazet tools, (and some Stahlwil), they are fantastic. Nice case as well.

That's great! I bought my overwhelming 148-piece tool kit for only $64,99 and I'm very pleased with it.

I love them. I have a growing collection.
The one thing they can't do to save their lives is screwdrivers. The burnished tips break all the time. I go to PB Swiss for that. |

I bought a new tool item recently. I try hard to not buy new tools - rather make do with what I've got.
But I saw this little Hazet item and even tho it fulfills a need I don't think I'll have -- and not sure exactly when I'd use it anyway or even WTF I'd use it for... I got it. Hazet Sliding Square - adapter 1/4 to 3/8 ![]() |

WOW! You're ready to do brain surgery!
I could do probably 90% of the repairs a 356 would need with that set-up.

To reverse the drive direction, you use the other side of the tool. I have a few old German ratchets and torque wrenches that use these. ![]()

Love the long slender wrenches. Bought a set of MAC 10-19MM wrenches like that in '75 and I use them daily.
