I think those are older than your '68. Do you not have a PET? It's been 3 computers ago since I ran that program. Someone should be able to run a PET search for you. I'd start with the very first drive axles in '64 if shown.

Hey Zeke, thank you for some info, this is another car, not '68 - the car on the pic is not mine, just used it for picture display...

I have trouble to find PN for those..

I just did a search on PET from 65-69 on all models/axles. Saw nothing like that in the picture. I highly doubt its a Porsche part.

It is indeed a Porsche part, I've had a few sets'

ev's axle seems to have a slip joint and a more conventional CV joint. I know I've seen those, but maybe not on a Porsche. Can you tell if there has been any machining or mods?

If PET doesn't list it, it didn't happen.

Yeah, those are listed in PET, but that is not what he has. Look at his pic again.. I still say it is not a factory part.
