What's "BT"? |
I just upgraded to the ios7 and my freakin jurassic iPhone4 is as slow as hell...Looks like I'll be restoring to the old ios as I did some research and reviews were same as mine. Looks like the latest version is better off with newer IPhones.
I was typing regardless if its in viber, wechat, whatsapp, iMessage or browsing thru Safari and it takes about 5 seconds for each letter to come out????? The phone almost went out the window so frustrating...How come my iPad mini acts normal after my upgrade? Looks like the IP4 is not compatible with the latest ios. Its like watching a Kung Fu movie wherein the mouth movement of the actor comes way ahead of the voice...lol!!!! Now going back to recovery mode but my itunes has to be updated before I can revert back to old version. the hell??? |

The 'new' keyboard is going to take some getting used to. Caps showing, even when lower case is selected. The only indication you're typing caps is actually seeing what's on the screen, or seeing the high-lighted Shift key. I'd much rather see it on the keys...where my eyes are focused.

SuggestionL: go through the settings and turn off notificaitons and locations on apps that don't need them. The GPS chip alway engaged could be slowing you down. -Z-man. |

I did turn off all notifications, deleted some apps eating up my space and videos/pictures. Now I have 4.6GB available and its still slow. I'm now in the process of restoring it to previous ios based on threads I saw on similar problems. Hmmm...It's frustrating typing the whole sentence and wait for 5 seconds for all the letters to come out. Once I get it mispelled, backspacing is the same. |

Ok just an update, I thought I restored the ios prior to the 7 version but instead itunes re-updated the current ios7 after a close 1 hr. It's back to normal now I can type at will. The only difference I made was this morning, I did the update thru the phone and now thru itunes. Hope this does not change as its normal at ios7.

Going to do it on the iPad (non-jailbroken) later today. Will report back on how it is for tablets...

No issues with Bluetooth so far on 7 (about 6 hours usage)

What really sucks is airdrop. I thought I would be able to airdrop docs, photos, videos, from my MacBook to my ipad, iPhone and vice versa. Nope

You upgraded via iTunes? I did mine ota directly to the phone and had no issues. Try restoring to a 6.x version, and then reapply the iOS update to see if that fixes your performance issues. Also - are your apps closed instead of running in the background? Are you logged out of apps like facebook, twitter...etc.? That can make a difference too. -Z-man. |
My iPhone 4S is running fine w/ iOS 7. Not any obvious difference in speed vs iOS 6. An iPhone 4 is slower than a 4S, but seems iOS 7 should still run tolerably.
