Well, think I figured this out. It doesn't sync go pro pictures to itunes and when I deleted those pics it would sync.

Now I have tried to import some music as I have done in the past and new itunes won't let me drag and drop anymore. Can't get music from desktop to itunes. Getting a little frustrated here. Looks like apple wants you to buy the music.

Do you have 'manually manage music' checked?

I've heard that from lots of people, but really, the only potential issue is with BBM, and with millions of users, it's very unlikely it'll just disappear. Even then, I'm not one of those users, so I don't really care. Aside from that, it's just a SIM card connecting to a nationwide cell network. Doesn't matter what device it's in.

Blackberry still has a large stronghold in the global corporate world, due to their encryption and security measures. But both iOS and Andriod has improved their security to become a viable competitor in this market.

That said, Apple has always been more consumer oriented, instead of an enterprise IT/corporate orientation. Case in point: for a few years, they produced a rack-mounted server (Called Xserve) that many companies needing certalized digital media management could use to manage Apple's XSAN. A couple of years ago, Apple stopped selling its xservers, and instead sell Macs that can double as MAC servers. Clearly a move away from the corporate world.

My company still issues Blackberry devices -- but they have been looking at iPhones and (*Gasp*) Windows phones as alternatives.

Speaking of -- I wonder which type of device will outlast the other: Blackberry or Windows phone...

Sorry for the tangent...

My wife works for Coke and they all just got new BBs as their corporate phones.
They still do work for their demands, like opening .xls files, outlook mail and instant messaging for starters.

Do you know if they migrated to the z10 BB OS? My understanding is that the new Blackberry OS is not compatible with their old system, making it rather difficult for corporations to migrate.

Just left town on trip. Laptop at home so can't check until Monday. Thanks for the suggestion.

My employer just made the switch from Blackberry to iphone 5. I'm still stuck with a crappy Blackberry Bold as my company phone and email device.

Windows Phone will outlast Blackberry. MSFT has deep pockets and just spent several $BN buying NOK's Windows phone biz. BBRY is rapidly headed to insolvency, laying off huge chunks of the company, high risk for any company to select BBRY as their corporate device/messaging now.

I had previously suggested a dark background to reduce the cartoon feel. If you go to General - Accessibility - Increase Contrast and turn it on, the icons appear sharper and more like they were. You can also turn on Reduce Motion in the same menu, which cuts down on the neat (but pointless) 3D effect and improves battery life.

Thanks Matt, that does make it look better.

For some reason I can't open the iTunes Store App. It opens briefly and then closes right away. Any fixes?

Ok, I'm back home, should it be checked? It was previously not checked.

I think that solved my problem, thanks.

Yes, 'checked' if you want to drag and drop.

Otherwise you have to use the sync function.

My iPhone 4 is virtually unusable after upgrading. After researching, it seems that I can't downgrade back. WTF??? Also there is no store around here that caries the 5s. I really would like a Nokia but it just seems like it will take MS a year or two to get up to par with Google and Apple.

What is wrong with it?

My 4S is fine with iOS 7.

What? Please elaborate as I'm about to upgrade my 4 to 7.02

Thanks

I have a 4 and upgraded to iOS7 about two weeks ago. No problems here.

Seems I found a possible solution:

it turns out, there’s a quick fix to the problem. Reader “Samsamsamsam” tells everyone to simply “Disable ‘documents and data’ in the iCloud settings and that fixes all keyboard problems.”

One thing worth noting - this is the first Apple anything that I have owned that needed tweaking to be good. For all the hype it still seems a little half-baked. I'm very curious if the long term impact of losing Jobs is starting to show.
