Awesome spot today at lunch
I am currently in Golden, CO for few days and just saw an awesome spot. What appeared to be a factory test mule 918 out and about. High Elevation testing maybe? Had vintage race numbers and everything on it.
Are these even for sell yet?

Too funny. I googled "porsche 918 - Golden, CO" and this was posted 4 days ago on another forum.
Nice birthday present from the Porsche gods.

Are you sure that is a 918? Looks a little like a CGT coupe.

I've never seen a photo of the 918 without those crazy looking wheels. This doesn't seem to be a 918. Looks pretty cool, though!

Definitely a 918. Look at the exhuast outlet ontop of the engine. This is actually the spyder model...because when I saw it, it was definitely sporting the "targa."
