These are seriously awesome cars!
Buddy of mine has one - I've been in it and driven it numerous times, every time I do it I'm more impressed, well balanced, great response, comfy.....I give it a '10' td |

A friend of mine recently bought a v-10 R8.
He took me for a ride............very impressive. Torque monster barely describes it. Plus, I get to drive his NSX once in a while.........hehehehehehe!

That's on my cousin's short list for new cars, all roadsters. If I find him the right car on west coast, I might drive it back to MN. for him. Could also wind up being a 991 cab...either way should be fast through Montana!

R8 feels heavy!
Hi folks,
I love the looks of the R8 (Coupé-version) and the quality of the car (in fact probably the only affordable sports car that I would consider instead of a pre-1990 911). However, when I compared driving it (the manual Spyder version) to my Carrera Coupé 3.2 I was not overwhelmed, felt very heavy despite of the V10. ![]() Nice car though. BR Tomas |
