Supertec resto-mod spoon?

Found an old Stevens 325a 30-30 bolt action rifle in a garage along with four other weapons.
Dave Lucas found a home at with a student gun-smith for an old British shotgun, restored my LC Smith 20 SxS and I played with this one.

The plan was to make a rifle that could be disassembled with a simple screwdriver to fit in a back pack. The longest piece is 26"

The process required that I index the barrel, remove the front strap and install a rear mount on the action, install a scope mount, replace the bolt handle and modify the stock to float the barrel and shorten the stock.

Some of the process is pictured below. It's not art but it was fun.

After

What scope if that? I can't make out the model number in the picture.

Not sure if it's my cup of tea, but it looks like a quality build. Have you shot it yet?

The scope is a Weaver K12-C3 from the 50s(?) just like the Stevens.
Haven't shot it yet, I just finished it this AM.
I did a timed assembly at 1 minute 14 seconds. With some practice that should go down to under a minute.

I'm worried that I will soon be out of a job. Nicely done Henry. That took some real thought. I believe those guns (110 included ) are zero head space so you should be good to go. Let us know when you shoot it..

Pleeease....... Like I said, "it's not art, but it was fun".

David, what you do is craftsmanship at the highest level. What I do with an air-cooled Porsche engine, you do with a firearm.

The gun stuff is just DIY enthusiast at best.

Thanks for the compliment anyway.
