RIP Hal Needham
Hopefully he is tipping a few back with the Snowman right now.
If anyone likes those "good old boy" movies--I recommend reading his autobiography "Stuntman"

"Hooper" was a good ol' boy movie. Burt Reynolds in a jet powered car having to make the big jump, bar fights, and lots of crashing. RIP Hal.

Directed a lot of great movies... and also the cult classic bmx film "Rad." Out of all of those films, I like Hooper the best. IMHO, Hooper was a good film with good stuntwork.
Most people don't remember that his work with the Budweiser Rocket unofficially broke the sound barrier in the late 1970's. R.I.P.
