well...I think speeder mentioned that 77 was a transition year. my car is original. it has black trim, with black fuchs. some cars had black anodized...some were chrome.

You're a bad influence, Mike. I just peeked on CL, and there's an '85 Turbolook cab on sale for $25K. Ditch the wheels for some Fuchs (just might have a spare set) and it'll look pretty good.

I did luck out. ive been eyeing 911's again for a couple of years, but was a bit discouraged by how high prices have been climbing. great for the guys who have them...not so great for the guys who want to buy (or get back into one).
to put things in perspective, this 911 cost less then what the belt service on my Ferrari cost me last spring....and the 911 is a heck of a lot of fun. |
