Too long of a drive for me but I love and use those as much as I can fit them in. Locked up they keep others hands out. A 2nd line of defense for a break-in.

You were lucky that there wasn't a tiger in your bathroom !...or an angry ex-fighter owner demanding him back !

Purchased today from a CL ad.......listed for $85 and negotiated down to $65 due to undisclosed previous repair work done on her.....

Made of concrete. Hefty but not super heavy. Will have to figure out a way to fasten her to my garage wall - the narrow part next to the big door - so she will be secure.

You can see where the hanger was originally attached. Then she broke right below. The break was repaired and then the hanger reattached below the break.

I think I'd drill holes in the back to epoxy whichever hangers you decide to use. The wire doesn't look too substantial.

Hey baz, I would consider using small gauge bar stock and making the legs substantially longer, bonded down the length to spread the load. Even a pl adhesive would suffice. Then you don't have to drill in the legs and create the stress risers that led to the first failure.

Good call, Marv. But maybe what Gordner mentions below has some merit too....

Gordner....thank you! I like this idea. This PL Premium MAX by Loctite looks like the shizzle! So glue a piece of stock on the back and then use that for any fasteners and/or hanger hardware. And have several points of support up and down her body to spread the load, as you said. I think this is a great strategy.

I will post in the "projects" thread as I move forward.

Cheers to you both!

I agree. A much better solution.

The pumps are dead simple. And probably still fine.

Some early January scores:
  • Milwaukee heavy duty die grinder for $15 off of FBMP. The guy had it listed for $20 for a couple of days and dropped it to $15. Runs great!
  • Echo hedge trimmer, practically new - $40 from a local yard sale
  • End mills that i bought at auction for $30 for the lot
  • Shell mills that I bought at that same auction for $30 for the lot
  • Genuine Porta-band that I bought off FBMP for $20. That was up for several days before I finally had time to pick it up.

3 nearly new Marker Ski Jackets, 1 Ski Pants, 1 Boot Bag. Total cost to me $45. They were under priced to begin with at $20ea and $10 for the bag (still has tags on it), and then it was half off day at the estate sale.

^^^ That's a great find. I would guess nearly a thousand dollars of gear when new.

....
Pumps are cheap on Amazon. For mine it was less than a rebuild kit.
