$2 sugar shaker at an estate sale. Heavy glass and metal. I haven't seen one of these in years, and we could use one for coffee/tea anyway.

Banner day today. Was heading down the road I live on and about 6 blocks down I see all this stuff sitting by the curb. I drive by - see what's actually there - then turn around and pull up to start loading. Start loading....the owner is up by her garage and says "Take what you want." I reply while smiling...."Getting rid of all the ex's stuff?" She replies "He passed away." Oh man - I said - I'm sorry and she replied that it was a blessing because he had been ill for some time. Anyway - all good. Turns out I know her daughter who is married to a former Tennessee football player who was on the team with Peyton Manning. They live in another part of the barrier island where I did two landscape jobs. So she had familiarity of all that and we had some nice small talk about that and family stuff. I got loaded up and then helped her take an extension ladder to her backyard and then she asked if I wanted the two rolling trash cans that were back there, so I said sure. Cool lady - former US Army Captain in the 80's. Her late husband was a dentist here for a long time.

I was surprised she didn't let a family member have all this but she said they all have people do stuff for them and were not handy with tools. I said "Well, they are going to a good home now."

That Bosch hammer drill is a worthless piece of junk. Send it to me and I'll take care of getting rid of it for you.

Thanks, guys! Hard not to feel guilty about how I came about getting these. I gave her my phone number in case she needs any help with her landscape or irrigation.

Unpacking stuff now. That Dewalt drill turned out to be the DW511 model - 1/2" hammer drill!

I love the analog batter charger too! They always come in handy when the battery level is way way down.

Free PortaBote on OfferUp! Needs a transom replaced, but I think I can have it fixed for under $100 in parts.

Send a message via AIM to Gogar
Free on Nextdoor. "Does not work."

Fan and Condenser were covered in dust and fan motor covered in some kind of gooey disgusting pink strawberry wine; wouldn't turn.

90 minutes of scrubbin and a clean and lubed fan motor later good to go.

7" Baldor Grinder?

Listed as a Rotary Grinder for $40 with no nameplate on the grinder.

After getting it home and inspecting it. It appears to be a 7' Baldor Grinder

Another decent weekend for Estate Sales.

This large clay pot was brand new but had damage on the side. I bought it for $10, took it home and cut the bottom off. Then I sunk it into the ground and planted an Espalier Lemon Tree:

The Damage, close up:

Cut the bottom off & Final Product:

Cement Pineapple $5

Cement Pagoda $40

Popsicle Stix Lamp $1
