I've got three full size mannequins in my backyard that someday I'd like to restore and paint glossy hotrod colors like candy apple red, black and yellow with pinstripes like these...

Awesome! I'll trade you lots of tire ashtrays for one of those babies!

Picked up this 24' Werner extension ladder this morning in Port ORange (20 minute drive) for $50 from a local CL listing. In really good condition - almost perfect. They sell for $216 at HD.

I already have a 28' and 16' and this one will be the perfect addition to the family. A lot of times I was lugging that 28' around, when a 24' like this would have sufficed.

I was already in the neighborhood to pick up some stuff at Harbor Freight so was able to consolidate my trips.

Good score. A few years ago i got one for free. The lady was about to call special pickup to have it taken away but they wanted 35$ to pick it up. Win win for both of us.

Just picked up a 2000 model Jetta for $600. Needs a coolant pipe replaced and some general maintenance but is good shape otherwise! It might need a head gasket, but until I can get the coolant leak fixed and really run it I’m not sure.

Nice...it would seem that absolute worst case scenario, you'd at least double your money selling a few parts off it.

They are great little cars. A suspension rebuild using Audi bushings and firmer struts makes them into decent drivers.

I was half way to the car and some random guy yelled out "Ya got a new girlfriend." Ha, some people have no manners (LOL). Then I got it home and proudly showed GF. She didn't look terribly impressed and said "Well at least put some pants on her." So I put on an old pair of jeans and a Hawaiian Lei. I really like it. It's for my man cave. So all 'n all, it's been a bit of an adventure. I certainly got my thirty bucks worth of fun out of it/her.

Hey Bill.......

When I saw your post I thought man that is way cool - I gotta get one of those! None on the local CL so I found a place selling brand new ones on eBay. She arrived yesterday and I got her assembled today. Right now she's guarding my bikes!

She already gave ME a scare earlier when I came in from surfing and was washing off my board I forgot she was there until I caught her out of the corner of my eye.....

Now I gotta get some clothing for her. Maybe even a bikini!

Are you kidding? The possibilities are endless!

I need to get another to keep her company.

Now I'm wondering about how to weatherize her so she can be outside in my landscape somewhere (strategically).

Maybe sitting on one of my garden benches!

And speaking of sitting.....how about getting one as a co-pilot in one of my classic cars? Or even on my motorcycle?

You gotta remember I am single and can freaking do whatever I want! The objective is to have fun in life! Go for the gusto!

Now that gave me the giggles. I'm not suggesting a double date or anything, but she's got style LOL

I was thinking a girls Hawaii shirt, open, and knotted at the waist... And maybe some Daisy Dukes.
