They are very high-quality and in like new condition - and super comfortable. $1700. There were a couple of dirt spots on the back of the loveseat which came out with a little carpet cleaner.

Hey Vern,

Thanks for getting back to me with the pricing and context. Considering the situation you described, I think you did score. Congrats and please give Mom and big hug from Baz!

Duane Eddy and a SubPop sampler in the same free pile. I like the variety!

I scored a free pick up on a washing machine! Ours kicked the bucket. I could smell that the belt had burned and most likely broken. I didn't check out what actually went wrong, although I could not move the agitator at all, just heard the motor spinning. Maybe the tranny locked up. I hauled it out to the street and brought in the new. I put a sign on it saying, "free, belt broke" and it was gone the next day!

I had a bit of a laugh at my favorite place, the dump shop I saw the mannequin and gave the girls behind the counter the $30 (USD$20) and took the mannequin. I looked back and they were both laughing their heads off looking at me so I said "It looks a bit like you." that shut the super model looking one up but the other one laughed even more. I was half way to the car and some random guy yelled out "Ya got a new girlfriend." Ha, some people have no manners (LOL). Then I got it home and proudly showed GF. She didn't look terribly impressed and said "Well at least put some pants on her." So I put on an old pair of jeans and a Hawaiian Lei. I really like it. It's for my man cave. So all 'n all, it's been a bit of an adventure. I certainly got my thirty bucks worth of fun out of it/her.

That mannequin is freaking awesome, Bill! I'd love to have a few of those! NICE score, brother!

I get kidded some because of all the curb pickups I score. Well my cat Tucker sure appreciates them if no one else does!

Got this for free. I had fixed it up a few years ago for the lady till she sold her house this year. The deck was so bad the spindles fell out of it so i cobbled it back together enough so it doesnt chop her feet off. Well I scraped that and stripped everything off it didnt need. I also welded the diff now itll make a nice yard work / mud toy

Picked up 57 stacking chairs for free off FB marketplace. Will work great for the upcoming backyard event once we put chair covers on them.

Jaguar E type

I finally got a green E type Jag yesterday for two dollars. I think the box is more valuable than the glass bottle. The nasty fragrance juice will be used for paint stripping in the garage. DP

Hey Baz, you need to get up here! I'm giving away a ladder on Craig's List!

"Eight foot wooden step ladder, free to a good home. Could use a little tightening, but no bad cracks or rot. Has a chip out of one step where my wife accidentally shot it."

I'm not going to ask how you got your fun out of her. Does she have fingers growing out of her left arm?

Those are broken off fingers from her right hand. I guess that's why she got "deserted" at the dump shop. I glued them back on. In a year or whenever I'll be setting up my small commercial unit as a man cave with Porsche/motorbike/surfboards/tools/hoist/horded belongings and more horded belongings. And I thought she could be part of the artform of the place.
