Not a Craigslist score but the neighbor across the street had these out by the road to be picked up, so I picked them up, slide and water table. My daughter babysits a 2 year old boy I call Little Dude and he will love this stuff.

Today helped clean out leftovers from my brothers boss mothers house. A furniture set lots of linnens and clothes and kitchen stuff. Brought it home and threw it on fb for free and a lady from russia came came got most of it. Alot of work and little reward for us but helped people out on both ends.

Heading over to Mom's yesterday in the Volvo I see this 4 chair and 2 table patio set curbside right around the corner. I stop and check them out and they are in really good condition! Some algae on some of the fabric and one chair leg has a broken section w/repairs made - but all slings in perfect condition!

So I load and tote them over to Mom's one by one (6 trips). Then came back today with my Silverado and bleach, cleaned them all up and toted them home.

What is nice is they are the high versions - like those used at a bar. I like sitting up high. Plus nothing to corrode so can be sat outside.

Lots of scores this week! My neighbor is cleaning out his parents house. His brother picked up a schwinn typhoon Jan 1969 from the trash and kept it there. He never picked it up so I got it. Already tore it down and started to reassemble it. Its going to need a front tire but thats it. Ill keep it with my collection.
My brother found a leatherman free p1 in the middle of the road smashed to bits. I sent it in and they gave me back a brand new one. Also found a box of andersen window cranks. They are like 45$ each on ebay and iv got ten. And an old dumpster find are these roof rack brackets. I have about 15 of them and found out they are worth like 50 bucks each! I couldnt beleive it. I'll sell some but im keeping most of them for my cars. At this rate I can buy another Porsche by the end of the month.

Sold my 15" powered subwoofer on CL today.
A guy drove up from an hour away and insisted on carrying it himself to his truck. (fine with me))

If I'm not mistaken, the Typhoon originally had a normal "S" saddle;
you could probably put that original purple banana seat on ebay for big bucks.

It's so funny how stuff many think of as wortlhless junk, like the cranks and the roof racks, are highly valued items. It's cool you know what to look for and keep us in the loop.

It's always fun seeing the FC in the background. That would be a fun Cars and Coffee rig.

Yeah I agree it probably had a regular seat but whats cooler than a banana? Ill be looking for a blue one I think. I have a blue rollfast that i found at the curb aswell. They would be too much the same with the same sorta seat. The FC is almost done just have to put in the windshield and finish up the dash. I just replaced the vacuum wiper with an electric so im finishing up the wiring.

So not technically a cl or garage sale, but my ex's current husband is a bit of a hoarder, and left this jd 770 at their former house, also my former house, that they sold to my son. Went up there to watch the super bowl, and saw it covered in weeds in the back, and asked my boy what the plan was, as I had a similar 670 that could use the parts.
Was told, its yours, tow it home, so I had someone do that. When it got here, 450 total hours, still oem oil filter on it, and it wouldn't start, b/c the fuel shut off solenoid had no pull current. Had hold current, so ran a relay with coil current from starter switched lead to feed the pull side of solenoid, and bam, runs like factory.
So, free tractor to run my splitter and tiller. Other tractor now dedicated loader tractor. Life is good. Beat that for free, dare ya.

Agree......NICE score there, Greg....surprised those tires look so good, given it was sitting in the weeds so long!

What year is it? Looks like a nice designed tractor!

It's early 90's. Around 20 hp at pto. Already have its smaller sister, a 670, like 18 hp. They're 3 cyl Yanmar's, japanese built and indestructable. These are gear trans, they also made hydros.
The 670 has a loader, this doesn't have the loader valve, which is fine as it'll get used to run my splitter and tiller, and maybe a small bushog, all of which are less easily managed with a loader on front.
Right now I'm running a pto pump for the splitter, but will likely tap into the tractor hydraulics on the new machine and run rear outlets-much easier to do if you don't have to deal with the loader valve.
