Thank you, Milt.
I was surprised nothing on them was broken. It's the same property where I got all those PVC hi-chairs and the 2 tables I posted upstream. Right around the corner from Mom's house. That whole neighborhood was flooded so quite a few folks are still doing repairs and remodeling. I got a nice floor lamp from Mom's neighbor across the street too but no pics yet. I did test it though and it works. These horses though are pretty cool with the hooks and those adapters for lumber - they will come in handy!

Big Estate sale up here.
The estate belonged to writer and Producer for Disney. Did some of the Winnie the Pooh cartoons. Not exactly my cup o' tea but he had 2 of everything. Picked up a bunch of stuff, the icing on the cake was when I found his stash of printer paper. Really high-quality fine art paper. Some still in the shrink wrap. I would have had to pony up well over a grand had I bought retail. Got all this for $60. But a very niche purchase. The person running the estate sale didn't know what he had, and it might not have sold had I not showed up. After all, it was on the third day of the sale. It's the cost of the printer ink that is going to kill me.

Copper bottom Revere Ware pan with lid, $3.00 at a estate sale. Not the greatest find ever posted here but it's something I've been looking for and the copper bottoms ones are getting hard to find.

Just talking about Revere Ware yesterday. I rate it No.1 followed by cast iron and then any quality non stick. For the actual cooking RW is great, cleaning not so much BUT you can use harsh chemicals. CI is great if you're into it and have the know how. After that it's just quality vs. price point. I think a lot of cookware is grossly overpriced.
We have a lot of different cooking vessels and the Dansk and Descoware are OK but it does age. Look at the RW pan. It's ready for another 50 years. |

Just picked this up Saturday from CL. 1-owner '71 750 with 23K miles and a complete authentic Dunstall kit (tail, tank, fairing, clip-ons, front fender, rearsets, added front disc, headers, and tailpipes). tires, chain, sprockets new. Owner was a former Honda dealer--got a slew of factory posters--mostly the GP bikes, but some late 80's Honda F1 stuff too, he had all parts from the bike(horn, side covers, airbox etc.), plus OEM in the package oil filter, spark plugs, throttle cables, brake pads, gaskets, etc.

Just picked up at the curb 12" sliding miter saw works fine just the guard is off i guess the pivot washer broke. Seems like a common problem because the first thing that came up when i googled this picture was the replacement guard washer lol. Its a score because all I have is a 10" non sliding one. It got me by for 20 years and 10 of that I was a carpenter. But itll be handy for the larger stuff for sure.

Coming home yesterday, I noticed a pet shelter on the curb around the corner from me. I figured it would be a good shelter for the feral colony. I pulled up to my house and figured that I would walk down and grab it. As soon as I parked, the garbage truck came around the other corner. Normally I have the burb and trailer out front, but I had it backed and there was only 2 stops before they would pick it up, so I hopped back into the Cheyenne and went around the corner to grab it.
![]() ![]() ![]() Now I need to figure where to put it. ![]()
