5-0 It's official I'm old...

I never thought I'd make it this far but I'm 50 today. Just saying it makes me feel weird...

I have to say I have a good life so far, great wife, two boys, own a nice house a P-car and run my own business. Plus I have my health (and hair)

Surprising how it creeps up on you as my mind still thinks I'm 25, body not so much.
I could loose a few pound and get back in shape, I haven't had a cig in a month, but still enjoy the cocktails.

Now I guess I'll be that creepy old guy who still thinks he's a kid to the young ones...

Fifty.....this one's hitting me hard......

I got about a year and a half before the big 5-0, but actually look forward to as another step closer to retirement. Financially, I know i'm ready, so there is no stress.

Welcome you are still a young un. I remember when I was 50 yo and even then a work mate told me that women would look through me at that age. Now 67 yo and happy to be retired. Yes we have much to be thankful for.

Seriously, I wish I was fifty...again. It is just a number and don't look at the down side, as in "over the hill." You are still on the climb up, if you want to be.

I know this is my own definition but I think 50 IS the middle age.
If you figure you became "yourself" at 20, and can reasonably expect to make it to 80, 50 is the middle.
