Righteous man...righteous! Me and my Harley "friends" would just pull in behind you and enjoy the ride. Unless, you were going too slow.

vonsmog 12-31-2013 12:27 PM

Wait, you guys have mufflers on your cars!???

Ok just kidding, My P cars have been mostly quiet, so no worries. But my Unimog is quite loud, so I try to stay in a higher gear when driving down my own street. But when on the road, I am still way quieter than 95% of the Harley's out there.

cgarr 12-31-2013 12:35 PM

Its a moot point, the old bag is gone, foreclosure or something? everyone can now mow their lawns, blow the leaves and edge their grass again (oh yea those things are loud when you hit the concrete)...and drive their cars again! although I never stopped...

Rich Gas 12-31-2013 12:52 PM

Is that a penis on the bottom of the note with some ejaculate... Just saying he might just want to talk.

cgarr 12-31-2013 01:00 PM

I was never good at art, looks like the old bags nipple as she's bending over looking at my exhaust.

Rich Gas 12-31-2013 01:16 PM

Ohhh... Ok. Nice!

You guys need to drive slowly through your neighborhoods. Usually, the limit is 25 mph there. Is that so hard for a few blocks?

I always drive the speed limit or slower thru town. In this case, I was on a country road in the middle of nowhere. I was going 30 in what I thought was a 45 as I had just passed a "End 45" sign. Usually, End xx means the speed limit is no longer restricted (like end-40 after passing thru a town where the speed was originally 55).

Instead of buying a dash-cam, you might want to contemplate spending the money making your car a little more quiet.

I have a '74, 2.7, SSI, Dansk 2-in-1-out non-sport muffler. Although I don't have a boombox stereo, I always turn it down when I'm at a red light.

The guy who tried to jump onto my car, afterwards trespassed onto my property in his Ford F350 Diesel which I suspect is louder than my car. My passenger drove by the guy's house on Sunday and he was outside flying model airplanes and helicopters on the street.

If I am going to spend any money (on this guys behalf), it will be for a shiny new base ball bat.

Maybe try second gear and a different muffler. I'll bet you'll get a lot of thumbs-ups and smiles.

I already get smiles and thumbs ups.

I was talking to someone else.

Yeah, it was the new guy.

Michigan Legislature - Section 750.411h

If you didn't see him following you after he jumped in front of you, it should be no problem representing the events you describe as two separate instances. If he did directly follow you, likely state 'road rage' laws will apply. You've got a witness, it should be no problem getting a protective order...assuming the events you represented are verifiable, not trying to be a jerk, but often that breaks down as time passes.

In any case, if you have cameras and a visible 'no trespassing' sign, you should have called the PD and requested an officer respond to take yours and your witness's statement as well as provide them copies of the footage.

I supplied the police with a flash drive that clearly shows this guy entering our property and taking photos of my car. Yes, he was trespassing on my property which is clearly marked "All Visitors Must Check in at Front Office" & "No Trespassing". The guy entered my gated parking lot, drove in, his bald friend got out and took the photos. The car dodger sat in the passenger seat. After a quick few snap shots, they drove off (maybe they spotted one of our 30 cameras on the outside of the building).

Can we just fast-forward to the part where nothing happens?

Not as charming - MotorMeister. Posting under one of the made-up names. Guess the bankruptcy proceedings aren't keeping their criminal minds occupied enough.

Good to hear that you went to the police. Sometimes these things escalate and bad things happen. When I was growing up many of us used the main road as a race track. Looking back not the smartest idea but who thinks about it when you are 18 and driving a 400HP muscle car? One day a man who lived on the road who happened to be the father of a girl who was a good friend of mine got fed up and threw oil onto the road and the attached article was the end result. You never know what some people are capable of until it is to late.

Are the police going to report back to you after they talk to this psycho?

I can drive at 20 mpg and 30 mph, but for some reason my car will not do a steady 25 mpg. I have to keep pushing in the clutch and tap the brakes to assimilate anything looking like 25 mph.

I don't have a light weight fly wheel either.
