That's a great movie Baz.

I watched the beginning of "Bad Boys" on Oxygen at 9pm. They cut the 911 scene where they are almost carjacked.

Funny twist-I saw Bad Boys in the channel guide earlier today. I turned it on but it was about the Detroit Pistons in the 80's. DOH!!

"The Edge" with Sir Anthony Hopkins is on Sundance right now - started 1/2 hour ago.

Afterwards is "The Beach", "Slumdog Millionaire", and then one of my favorites...."Black Rain".

For those who have access to THIS TV tonight at 10pm the cult classic "Road Games" will air.
=====

An excerpt from the excellent documentary NOT QUITE HOLLYWOOD in which stars Stacy Keach and Jamie Lee Curtis, director Richard Franklin, screenwriter Everett DeRoche, cinematographer Vincent Monton, Oscar-winning filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, and others discuss ROAD GAMES.

IMHO, Stacy Keach has very good taste in company for his road trip!

You HAVE to see "The Departed". In fact watch it more than once - it's worth it and you'll see more the second time around.

The Fisher King was very good - I remember when it first came out watching the Siskel and Ebert review. "At the Movies" was one hell of a great show...for movie buffs like me anyway. :)

If you were a fan of Siskel and Ebert, you owe it to yourself to see Life Itself.

Baz,

If you liked The Departed, you might want to watch the original source material: Infernal Affairs

Infernal Affairs (2002) - IMDb

Ive never heard of Road Games either. Have to check that one out. Always had a crush on Jamie.

Got to see this a few weeks ago in a 70mm print for the first time. Very cool theater, very community oriented.. My all time favorite film. Very loud.

While Bad Boys is a cool movie - you actually admit to watching Oxygen? Isn't that Oprah's network? I guess somehow they shoe-horned in a man-cave movie inbetween a "Woman fights back when attacked at home" movie starring Meredith Baxter-Bailey and Steel Magnolias. Go figure.

Nevertheless, man-card revoked.

Oxygen isn't Oprah's network. Hers is OWN.

OVTV is Ovation Network.

Can I have my man-card back , please?SmileWavy

I don't know how anyone can NOT have seen The Departed.

My God it's an incredible movie.
