A cure for wellness. Producers may have watched American Horror Story, Asylum and tried to one up it. It starts out ok but this movie was 2 hours + and just tried too hard to terrify me. Can not go thumbs up.

The Mrs and I watched this on Netflix last night. Was pleasantly pleased with the film.

The poison rose. Travolta is a tough guy private eye. I am 1/2 way in and not sure I can stay with it to the end. Trying.

Watching it now on your recommendation. So far it would be fine if only Adam freeking Sandler wasn’t in it. He truly sucks. It looks like a cross between ‘Clue’ and murder on the orient express.

I worked on the new Top Gun sequel "Top Gun : Maverick" last year. I met with the Set Decorator today and she told me they did a short teaser screening in Europe yesterday and it was well received, some of the most amazing Aerial maneuvers ever filmed.

They also screened the same 8 minute teaser last week in Annapolis for all the big brass Admirals since the Navy had cooperated in the filming out at China Lake and San Diego. It got a standing ovation from the bigwigs. Should be pretty spectacular.

Toy Story 4. It's great with a nice, apolitical message most adults can identify with.

Thanks, Craig. Very cool I look forward to this one, although I won't expect it to be as "good" as the first one, which was insanely good.

I am mother. Futuristic sci fi movie. Mother is a droid that raises a human daughter. Moved too slow for me but not a terrible movie.

The MOVIE thread

Just watched last night “The Meg”. The only thing missing was some mulled wine and crackers to go with all the cheese.

Did what any movie is suppose to do. Entertain and cause you to mental disconnect with reality.

If you like Intelligence you may like Da Vinci's Inquest. It's another Canadian tv series written by the same writer/producer of Intelligence

Thanks! I enjoyed Bad Blood as well, though it was more of a simple gangster story.

If you enjoy period movies then this is worth a look. I'd describe it as interesting, different and entertaining.

(I can't remember the last time Sean Penn was in a decent movie)

Bad Blood is good, the first season is loosely based on a true story. I thought the second season was better.
