Went to DW when I was around 6 years old. It was going to be so awesome that I couldn't stomach it. Puked all throughout the night, even barfing in bag in the back of the station wagon all the way to the park. Pretty much ruined half the day for my family, but I eventually turned around and enjoyed the afternoon.

I don't do amusement parks very well.

I remember going when they had coupon books (think A,B,C,D,E). Of course there were less E coupons than the others...they were the ones that got you on the best rides. If I could only smell the exhaust from the cars they had running there. Ca. would have a fit if they were polluting like that still! Great place as a kid, great place to maul gf's as a teenager!

When I went in early December at DW, since there were no lines, we did the go karts... I couldn't believe how bad they stank and was shocked they hadn't been converted to electricity. I would have refused to work on that ride it was so bad. I can't imagine how bad it must be on a still, hot day in summer.

And this is typical about 20 minutes after the park opened.

Sorry can't show the non-public areas like the tunnels.

Wow! Very cool!! THANKS

Took the wife and kiddos there a couple years ago - peak season but as soon as my wife pulled out her white cane it was like a cross between a light sabre and the staff of Moses! the seas of people parted and within minutes a Disney employee came up and told us to follow him to a small building where they provided us fast passes so she didn't have to wait. At first she declined but the kids got the better of her. Not waiting for us!

One of those rare instances when being blind works...of course all the rides she went on were as if they were in alomst pitch blackness...but not only did she ride all the coasters and what not she actually loved it. Not me, I puke riding the tea cups!

No, but thanks for the invite. I work primarily at the Studio in Burbank.

mike, I don't know about blind, but the company recently started requiring those in wheelchairs to wait in line like everyone else. It seems a whole lot of people figured they could bring dead grandma's wheelchair with a perfectly mobile person in it and get to the front of the ride lines. A lot of organizations complained, but the company has so far stuck to its guns.

Wow! Really? Interesting. When we went it wasn't like that but I can see folks getting over on the system. She hates whipping the cane out but when in a place like that its helpful...i want to use it with a pair of RayBans but she won't let me, she thinks I'll walking to the girls locker room or a womens changing room...

Those pics are so wierd, it is like a scene from "On the Beach" or something.

Yeah, the kids taking turns pushing each other in the wheel chairs was a common sight last time I was there.

That was our experience at WDW last August with my MIL who was in a wheelchair (MS). She had to bring the scooter in line up to a certain point, then either walk or use a wheelchair. A few rides allowed us in through a handicapped entrance or the fastpass line. But generally we waited with everyone else.
