I watched so many old reruns growing up; Looney Tunes, Little Rascals, Stooges, , Marx Brothers, Oliver & Hardy, Ma & Pa Kettle, etc. It was all way before the contemporary but we loved it, not sure if kids today get the same kind of exposure?

When I first got an iphone, I went on iTunes to look for free content for a long flight. I found a collection of Looney Tunes in the podcast section and they were labeled 'Adults only'. Really? Are kids really that fragile today that they can't handle this stuff ![]() In any case, one of my favorites |

Does anyone remember the three bears? They were seven minutes of wife and child beating hilarity.

Mid nineties I worked at Warner's classics. Was hanging out at lunch with Cindy the receptionist. She fielded a call from a frantic woman whose child had somehow just seen an un censored toon. There was a lot of shouting and demands for an apology. Cindy said "I'm sorry ma'am. But all the guys who made that cartoon are dead now". |
